Traditional Thai massage is recognised by Unesco as World Heritage for its healing benefits. Known as Nuad Bo-Rarn, it means ancient massage and exists for about 2 500 years.
Think of it as a mindful meditation in motion combining rhythmic pressure, gentle stretching and targeted acupressure which will help release emotional blockages and tensions and improve your health.
Perfect for relieving tension, improving circulation and restoring balance, this treatment is tailored to your comfort level.
Unlike typical massages, Traditional Thai Massage is deeply interactive, incorporating assisted yoga like poses to enhance flexibility and energy flow.
The movements are performed in a deep, slow, beautiful and respectful way, allowing you to let go and relax your mind and body.
It is a complete, dynamic and profound treatment where the body is mobilized, stretched and rebalanced as a whole.

I was trained by Gaelle Jacquinot, the creator of this unique massage who took inspiration in tantra and lomi lomi. She had a regular client who kept asking her to massage the heart and this is how the massage Shemna starts.
We put each other hand on each other heart and begin breathing together. We symbolically draw a safe bubble together to let our worries outside of it during this suspended moment.

The workshop will begin with a quiet moment featuring a story from The Hoop Book by Linda Sinnige.
Then, we'll warm up to awaken our bodies and prevent injuries.
We'll explore some fundamental on and off body hula hoop movements and then create a mini-sequence to flow with.
Finally, there will be a cool-down moment with gentle stretches.
All you'll need is your curiosity and comfortable clothing that make you feel great to move with. All body types and genders are welcome!
